Ithra Summer Camp aims to engage children of all ages in a number of activities to nourish their interests and personal skills in the fields of knowledge, innovation, creativity, and technology. Their skills will be presented in a final project made by the child in order to instill a can-do attitude and a sense of pride in their accomplishments. Each participant will join deep-dive workshops covering all fields, and will engage in a number of different activities and courses during the program.
The Program Structure:

Age: 06-09 years
Participants will discover how to unlock their imaginations and turn words into stories. They will write, read, share, as they learn how to make writing exciting and fun. Participant will work in teams to translate their thoughts, ideas, adventures and memories into articles, stories and illustrations that will be packaged in a booklet or an audiobook.
Participants will unleash their imagination and will be introduced to several forms of visual art. In The Artist Camp, participants will build their own tents, and create and design art pieces to complement their tents.
Age: 10-12 years
Children have a natural curiosity that lends itself to science, technology, engineering and math. This track will inspire participants to build on their innate desire for answers by exploring engineering concepts in a fun, hands-on way.
Age: 13-14 years
Participants will create a film with their iPhone and learn the basic rules of filmmaking. They will have basic knowledge about the film process and they will be able to write, shoot, and edit a film by themselves.
This track will encourage participants to express their ideas and experiences, devise and perform original stories through creative teamwork. The participants are guided to explore improvisational acting techniques and creative movement that connects to their stories. The practice of dramatic role-play and creative freedom will enhance interpersonal skills and self-esteem.
This track offers a combination of workshops in photography and architecture. In architecture classes, they will learn architectural styles, construction methods, model-making and drawing techniques. The photography classes will teach them the basics of photography compositions, techniques and special features of mobile phones to take outstanding photos.
Participants will learn programming skills through interactive and exciting projects. The learning outcomes include basic coding and programming, problem solving, logic, physics and more.
