Earth Hour 2017 at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for planet earth organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). As a symbol of commitment to the planet; an annual event is organized by individuals, communities, households and businesses by turning off their non-essential lights for one hour. Over 1,200 landmarks from 170 countries and territories including 40 UNESCO World heritage site participates in the event annually.

It is our pleasure to announce that King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture for the first time have participated in Earth Hour on March 25, 2017 at 8:30pm. During the event, all non-essential internal and external lights went dark at the Center building and Monosurface for an hour.

This event have been organized as a part of Center’s commitment to operate environment friendly and sustainably.
