Art Installation Tour

Are you familiar with the concept of art installation? This tour gives you an overview of the process of integrating art in the architecture of the Center through 12 unique and inspiring pieces of artwork that reflect the Center’s mission of promoting creativity and cross-cultural engagement. The artwork was created by well known artists from both local and international artists. They have used new and innovative media in their artworks, from lighting and textile, to calligraphy.

You have probably heard a lot about the Center, but how much have you seen? This tour takes you to all various components of the Center to experience for yourself its offerings of a collaborative environment and spaces for exploration, learning, creativity, networking, and self-realization. Above all, it will be your window into the Kingdom’s culture, from its original past, through its thriving present, and to its promising future.

Sakia

Children will experiment on how to build and test basic water wheel, and learn how it transforms into an energy.

This hands-on experiment allows children to build their own traditional sakia and see first-hand how energy can be made from something as simple as water. Learning how to make a sakia is a great way to make physics come alive for your child and spark a lifelong fascination with science.

Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum is Saudi Arabia’s first children’s museum and targets children ages 0-12 and their families. The Children’s Museum seeks to stimulate the minds of children with hands-on, interactive exhibits, and structured learning experiences.

Basic Rules

• Parents are not allowed to leave children unattended

• No food or drink

• Free entry

• Each adult can accompany a maximum of 6 children
