When will the Center be open to the Public?
The Center was inaugurated in January 2016 by HRH King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Ithra is currently offering a series of programs and events to invited groups. Tickets to the general public will be made available in the near future.
Is the Center only for Saudi Aramco employees?
Currently, entry is by special invitation to the organizations that have supported the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture project in recognition of their efforts. The Center will be open to all visitors soon after.
How can I receive an invitation to attend?
At the moment, the Center’s weekly programs and events are by invitation only. If you do not receive an invitation for this weekend, please be assured that you will soon be invited to visit.
Why is the invitation currently only open to Saudi Aramco employees?

Is it possible to visit the Center without registering?
No, currently visiting is by invitation only to guests who have registered and obtained their tickets online. Tickets to the general public will be made available in the near future.
How can I register for tickets when I receive the invitation?
Once you receive an invitation, you will also receive a link to a page that will provide an overview of the scheduled programs and events. You will then have the opportunity to register and obtain the general entry ticket (electronic), which you must show at the Gate along with your Saudi Aramco ID.
Is it possible to change the date of my ticket if I am not able to attend and /or prefer an alternative date?
You cannot change the date of your ticket. However, you are able to book a new ticket and email us at email@example.com with the details of your old ticket number.
Is it possible to book a ticket on behalf of a friend or relative?
No. Tickets are booked under the name of the invited ticket holder. Tickets are non-transferable.
Do I have to fill in all the registration fields for my guests even if the information is not relevant to them?
Please fill in all the fields for your guest(s) with the same information you provided.
What if my guest is not a Saudi Aramco employee, can they still be registered?
Yes, guests can still be registered if they are not a Saudi Aramco employee. The Saudi Aramco invitee’s ID number and department can be used when registering their non-Aramco guests.
Is it possible to book more than one ticket for the event?
You can book up to 7 tickets for you and your guests, including family and friends, and they must be with you in one vehicle to pass through the gate. Saudi Aramco ID card must be presented at the gate with the eTickets.
Will you charge the invited guests any entry fees?
No, entry is free for those who have received an invitation and registered to attend.
Are tickets required in order to enter the Center’s facilities and programs?
No, there are no specific tickets to enter the Center’s facilities and programs. The ticket is a general entry ticket.
Is the Center only for families? Are youth groups / single guests allowed?
Everybody is welcome to visit the Center, provided they have obtained an invitation and registered online to attend.
Are children allowed to enter the Center?
Yes, the Center welcomes children of all ages.
Is there public transportation to and from the Center?
Currently, only private vehicles of invited guests will be allowed to enter the Center. Shuttle buses and golf carts will be available to transport visitors from the parking lots to the Center and Energy Exhibit and back to the car park.
Is there a dress code for the Center?
The Center is a public space. All visitors are requested to adhere to dress code for public spaces and refrain from wearing shorts or sleeveless shirts. Women are requested to wear abayas. Thank you for your cooperation

The Center offers a variety of programs and events. Please refer to the posted programs on the site for more details.
What type of films will be screened in the cinema?
There will be a variety of educational and cultural films that suit all ages and backgrounds.
Will there be coffee shops and restaurants at the Center?
Yes, there are several restaurants and coffee shops that you can enjoy throughout your visit.
Are there any rules or regulations for visitors to enter the Center?
No, however It is kindly requested for everyone to remain courteous of their environment and respectful of the cultures and traditions.
Am I allowed to take photos inside the Center and its exhibit spaces?
Yes, you are most certainly allowed to take photos, however, the privacy of others must be taken into consideration. However, in certain exhibit spaces within the Center photography is not allowed. A member of staff will be happy to help if you have any questions.
Is the Center accessible to people with special needs?
